Ad Swap is a barter network, not an ad network. There's no money, no bidding, no ad server auction — you show one ad on your site, and in exchange your site's ad shows up on everyone else's. That's the whole model.
It exists because small sites, side projects, and hobby pages rarely have the traffic to make real ad networks worthwhile, but could still use a bit of cross-promotion from other small sites in the same boat.
You paste a small embed (an iframe or a script tag) on your site. Once we confirm it's actually live there, you're approved into the pool, and your ad starts rotating through everyone else's embeds — while a random other member's ad shows through yours.
Ad Swap is an independent, one-person project built and run by Emma Goldberg. It isn't a company — just a small tool kept intentionally simple.
